18th Scouts pay Respects to Servicemen |
||||||||||||||||||
On 11th November, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from the 18th and 26th Cambridge Scout Groups accompanied Young Leaders to represent Scouting at the Cambridge Rememberance Day Parade. The scouts marched with serviceman and ex-serviceman to the war memorial on Hills Road, where a wreath was laid in honour of those who fought in the World Wars. Charles Brown, Cub Scout Leader of the 18th, was the man in charge. As an ex-serviceman, Charles feels youth involvement is of a high priority in Remembrance.
