Beavers from the 12th, 18th & 26th Cambridge colonies (TriBe) are in for a treat after the announcement that there is a Beaver Sleepover being planned for the Easter weekend. On 22nd March, Beavers are invited to take part in a 'Mega Easter-thon' which will include an Easter Egg hunt, Easter games, lots of chocolate and some extra special egg-based tasks.

Simon, who will also be celebrating his 23rd birthday on Easter Sunday, commented;
*Excited is an understatement! I could hardly contain my excitement when discussing the programme suggestions with Emma over the phone...it was constant idea after idea and we both knew that it had to happen. it's going to be great!"

Parents have been asked to register an interest between now and the end of January, which will determine whether the sleepover is viable. In previous years the Easter weekend has been difficult for a lot of families due to other commitments and it's place in the middle of the Easter holidays. However, with an early Easter at the beginning of the holidays in 2008, the leaders are hopeful there will be a good response.

Forms will be available for parents to download by the end of January.
