The Cubs have spent the last meeting of the Centenary wowing parents with a special Christmas show, all in aid of the Entertainers Badge.

After a few weeks of rehearsing, the Cubs showed off their acting and singing talents with a number of traditional scout sketches, dances and songs in their sixes, lasting roughly 40 minutes.

But that wasn't all. The evening also saw one Cub being invested into the pack, and two others receiving the highest award in Cub Scouting, the Chief Scout Silver Award, as part of a specialised personal challenge on stage. It was also the last meeting of Akela's first term in charge, for which he thanked the Cubs and parents for their support over the term.

To finish off, the Cubs had used the evening to run a raffle, which managed to raise over £30 for activities in 2008.
